One4Six – Terms & Conditions
1. Participation
By taking part in One4Six, participants confirm they are fit and able to undertake physical activity.
Participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own health and wellbeing throughout the event.
Anyone with medical concerns should seek advice from a healthcare professional before participating.
2. Event Format
One4Six is a collective, non-competitive running and walking event.
Participants can choose their own distance and pace; there is no minimum or maximum requirement.
All distances completed contribute towards the shared goal of completing six marathons (157.2 miles / 253.2 km).
3. Registration
Participants may be required to register their interest in advance.
Event organisers reserve the right to manage or limit participation numbers if necessary.
4. Fundraising
Participants are encouraged to raise funds in support of St Oswald’s Hospice.
All fundraising should be conducted in a lawful, honest, and respectful manner.
Any funds raised should be paid promptly via the official fundraising channels provided by the organisers.
5. Safety & Responsibility
Participants are responsible for their own safety, including route planning, hydration, and appropriate clothing/footwear.
The organisers are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage incurred during the event, except where required by law.
Participants should follow all local laws, road safety rules, and public guidance while taking part.
6. Event Hub
Fleet Street Bar will act as a central meeting point only.
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings at all times.
Respectful behaviour towards staff, other participants, and the venue is expected.
7. Changes & Cancellation
The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the event or cancel it if required due to unforeseen circumstances.
In the event of cancellation, participants will be notified as soon as reasonably possible.
8. Photography & Media
By attending, participants consent to photography and video recording that may be used for promotional purposes.
If you do not wish to be featured, please inform the organisers in advance.
9. Conduct
Participants are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly at all times.
Any inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the event.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organisers accept no liability for any personal injury, loss, or damage suffered during participation, except where caused by negligence.
